Email

Email tools let your AI assistant read, search, draft, and send messages from mailboxes your administrator connected to Metraclick (company mail, Gmail with an app password, and similar).

You talk in plain language. The AI chooses the right tool, uses your default mailbox unless you name another account, and asks for confirmation before anything is actually sent.

The tools

How they work together

List mailboxes  →  know which accounts exist and the default
List folders    →  find Inbox / Drafts / Sent names if needed
Search / Get    →  find and read mail
Resolve         →  optional check that recipients are allowed
Create draft    →  prepare a message safely
Send draft(s)   →  send only after you confirm
Send / Reply    →  send immediately after you confirm (or dry-run first)

Typical flow — read mail

  1. Ask which mailboxes you have (or skip if you only have one).
  2. Search the inbox for the topic or person.
  3. Open a specific message when you need the full body.

Typical flow — send safely

  1. Create a draft (or ask for a dry-run send).
  2. Review the draft or preview with the AI.
  3. Explicitly confirm you want it sent.

Typical flow — several drafts

  1. Create multiple drafts.
  2. List drafts to review.
  3. Ask to send the newest batch with confirmation; repeat until none remain.

Your administrator configures hosts, passwords, the default mailbox, and optional rules such as allowed send domains. You do not enter server passwords in chat.

Important safety notes

  • Nothing is sent until you clearly confirm (the AI must pass confirm=true). You can ask for a dry run first to validate without sending.
  • If your org set allowed send domains, mail to other domains is blocked.
  • There are limits on recipients per send and message body length (set by your administrator; typical defaults are 25 recipients and about 20,000 characters).
  • Prefer naming a mailbox only when you have more than one (“use the sales account”). Otherwise the default mailbox is used.
