Agent Knowledge
Agent Knowledge lets your AI assistant search and maintain your organization's knowledge base — structured information such as FAQs that the AI can look up when answering questions, and update when you ask it to.
The three tools
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Overview | See which knowledge sources exist and which fields can be edited |
| Search | Find entries by keywords (questions, answers, and similar text) |
| Edit | Create, update, or delete entries |
How they work together
Overview → learn what sources exist (e.g. FAQ) and which fields you can change
Search → find existing entries before answering or editing
Edit → add, change, or remove entries (delete needs explicit confirmation)
Typical flow when answering a customer question:
- Your AI searches Agent Knowledge for relevant FAQs.
- It uses the results to draft an answer.
- If nothing matches, it can add a new FAQ entry (after checking for duplicates).
Typical flow when updating content:
- Search for the entry you want to change.
- Note the
idfrom the search results. - Ask the AI to update or delete that entry.
